Jennifer O'Bree

Physiotherapist

Jen completed her Doctor of Physiotherapy at Curtin University after graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Human Movement and Nutrition from the University of Canberra. She has worked across musculoskeletal private practice, residential aged care and acute hospital settings, including cardiorespiratory and neurosurgical rehabilitation.

Before becoming a physiotherapist, Jen served for 12 years in the Royal Australian Navy. This experience strengthened her leadership, communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills while reinforcing her passion for health, fitness and an active lifestyle.

Having experienced injury and persistent pain herself, Jen understands how physical limitations can affect work, exercise, family life and the activities that matter most. Her clinical interests include acute and persistent pain, recreational and sporting injuries, return to running, postnatal rehabilitation, and supporting strength, mobility and independence throughout life.

Jen takes a collaborative, evidence-based approach. She combines education, exercise rehabilitation, load management and manual therapy to help people better understand their symptoms, regain confidence in movement and return to meaningful activities.

Outside the clinic, Jen enjoys strength training, running, swimming and spending time outdoors with her husband, two boys and two dogs. Her favourite family activities include trips to the beach, visiting local playgrounds and walking the dogs.
